GAS SCRUBBERS

LSV-1200

Designed to protect people and the environment

Gas scrubbers for laboratory use, are compact devices designed to absorb gases, to protect people and the environment. The range of scrubbers comprises the Q and LSV models.

Q Series scrubbers (Vertical Counterflow Absorption Scrubbers) and LSV Series scrubbers (Over-fume Cupboard Absorption Scrubbers) are manufactured entirely of polypropylene, making them  highly corrosion resistant. As these are very compact devices, they have a limited absorption bed.

To ensure good absorption levels we recommend that you fill out the Quimipol emissions form. Using this form we can simulate the retention percentages for each chemical.

Gas scrubber Q–1000

Designed specifically for laboratory interiors

Gas scrubber with Neutraliser. Designed specifically for laboratory interiors. Compact size, similar to an extraction cabinet. Optimised for volumes of between 700 and 1500 m3/h

Equipment dimensions

Length: 800 mm / Depth: 750 mm / Height: 2170 mm
Equipment scrubbing capacity: 750-1500m³/h
Pressure loss generated by the device: 350-600 Pa
*The pressure drop values vary according to the flow rates and pressures of the fan chosen for extraction.

Tank capacity:  110 l approx.

Empty weight of scrubber: 160kg
Full weight of scrubber: 270kg

Main features

For all types of gases
Compact design
Easy to control and manage
For fume cupboards up to 1500m/h
Designed entirely of Polypropylene (PP)

Operation system

This scrubbing system is characterised by:

  • Compact design, both the scrubber and the tank can be easily adapted to the customer’s needs.
  • The units are made almost entirely of polypropylene (PPH), giving them a high level of corrosion resistance and durability.
  • Simple control system, requires little maintenance

Optional equipment

  • Neutralisation Equipment in the tank.
  • Double pH set point with dosing pump.
  • This addition allows the acidity level in the scrubber tank to be controlled, so that once the product has been neutralised it can be released into the network.
  • As well as monitoring the acidity, pH control also governs a dosing pump connected to two tanks containing an acid or a base. It automatically keeps the recirculation water at neutral levels.

Gas scrubber Q–2000

With greater scrubbing capacity
